The second episode of this new season of the distant lands begins with the crew of the U.S.S. Indianapolis and the crew of the USS Indianapolis, who are in the midst of attempting to avoid a collision at the Bermuda Triangle. This episode is set in the year 2025.
There’s so much that I adore about this new season of the distant lands. I can see how the crew of the U.S.S. Indianapolis must be feeling a little bit like they’re having fun while they’re on the hunt for the Triangle. It’s a bit of a metaphor for their situation – in our universe, time and space can be very, very small.
The crew of the USS Indianapolis are in the midst of a time loop, where they are trying to avoid a collision at the Bermuda Triangle, but they cant due to the fact that the USS Indianapolis is traveling at exactly the same speed as the Bermuda Triangle, and the two are now in the same exact location. In their timeline, the Bermuda Triangle was just last week, and as the USS Indianapolis is now traveling at the same speed as the Bermuda Triangle, the collision wont happen.
They are also travelling at exactly the same speed as the Bermuda Triangle, which is something that’s apparently very hard to do in the real world. As long as you move slowly enough it should be fine.
Okay, so the Bermuda Triangle is the Bermuda Triangle, and this guy who lives in the Bermuda Triangle is the Bermuda Triangle. That’s kind of cool, but how do we know that we’re in the Bermuda Triangle? Well, the Bermuda Triangle is all over the place, and is in a big city. This guy lives in the Bermuda Triangle, and he lives in a house that looks like its in the Bermuda Triangle. So, it’s not weird.
I guess that makes sense. When you are in the Bermuda Triangle, you are in the Bermuda Triangle. When you are not in the Bermuda Triangle, you are not in the Bermuda Triangle. The real world is a bit more complicated than this, but its true nonetheless.
