In a world of instant gratification and fads, it’s easy to forget that one of the most important things we can do to make ourselves happy is to find ways to slow down and think. Being a slow, thoughtful person is not only a life skill, it’s a way of life. We just have to realize it.

This is one of the most important lessons I learned from my time in Boston. It’s not about becoming a supercilious prude, its about slowing down and being present. Sometimes you’re doing some really great things and you just need to take a moment to appreciate it. If you don’t, you’ll just be doing it to impress people. If you do, you’ll be slowing down and being present with your friends and family.

Im not sure I’m the best person to read this, but I’m going to go ahead and give you a second chance if you want to share your story. Leanne is one of those people who seemed like they had it all. He had the perfect boyfriend, the perfect job and even the perfect house. The problem was that he also had the perfect boyfriend, the perfect job and the perfect house.

He was an accountant working at a huge, multi-billion dollar company. Apparently, he was a good person, but he was also a jerk. He had a habit of getting really drunk and acting like a jackass. He got suspended for four weeks for hitting a girl, and then got kicked out of the company for being too aggressive. He then got kicked out of the porn industry for being too aggressive.

I don’t know if I’d call the guy a jerk or a jackass. I’d just call him a douche.
