Before I leave my house, I spend about 20 minutes on makeup. That includes putting on moisturizer and a primer, then foundation, concealer, blush and mascara. You may be thinking that’s too much time in the morning for someone who is running late to work or school. But you need to think about it this way: when I put on all that makeup before leaving the house, I now feel confident and ready to take on my day because I look good! It also feels like an accomplishment when there are no streaks under my eyes from mascara or blotchy patches where my foundation doesn’t blend well with the rest of my skin tone.
