I have been watching “The Politician” for a few years now, and I have to say, it is not one of my favorite shows. It makes me laugh, but also gets me thinking about how much we all need to do to influence our lives. A great example of the show’s humor is when one of the Visionaries points out that they were a bunch of bumbling idiots who didn’t know what they were doing when they made their last deal with the city. It’s a very clever joke, and also it can be used to demonstrate how a politician thinks.

Like most politicians, Senator Wills was a good man. He was a very smart, ambitious, and principled man. But he also seemed like he was constantly on the edge of a nervous breakdown. If he was so smart, why was he being so difficult to deal with? He seemed like he was running from something. And the more I thought about it, the more I think that was the real reason why he was on Deathloop. He was trying to escape from something.

We see this in a scene where Senator Wills, after having been shot, is lying on the floor in a hospital bed. The camera cuts to a woman, who is a doctor, and she tells us that he is going to be fine. Of course, this is all part of the setup that makes this game more compelling than its predecessor. You have to play a politician with a twisted sense of reality.
