There will also be an NBA finals, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Paris Marathon. The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo will start off this year with the most anticipated event being “women’s wrestling.”

This sport has been traditionally dominated by men for over 100 years but now women have a chance to show their dominance on the mat as well! These events vary drastically in terms of time commitment from a few hours up to many weeks. With that said, there are plenty of options for everyone so pick your favorite or try something new.The anytime fitness blog is a blog for people with busy schedules who want to stay fit. The content ranges from ways to get in cardio at home, tips for healthy eating on the go, and workouts that can be done with minimal equipment.

Here are some of the most anticipated sporting championships that will take place over the next 12 months:-

1. The 2021 Women’s World Cup

The FIFA Women’s World Cup is a competition that has been around since 1991, but in 2021 it will be the first time it will be hosted by France.  It was decided during the FIFA congress in Paris on Saturday 15th of March 2019 that France would host the event for four years starting from 7 June to July 7 2020. The final tournament will take place at Stade de Lyon and Parc Olympique Lyonnais with matches being played across 12 venues as well as the Saint-Denis area which includes the French capital Paris.  This year’s Women’s World Cup in France had an estimated global TV audience of 1 billion people, while 8 million fans attended games or watch them on big screens in public places.

2. The 2021 European Championships

The 2021 European Championships are in their planning stages and will be held in the Netherlands. The tournament is set to take place from June 18th-July 10th, with a total of 48 teams participating. With the 2020 Euros being canceled due to France’s lack of interest in the event, many countries are excited about this year’s replacement: a 16 team tournament featuring Group A (England, Scotland, Wales) and Group B (Belgium, Greece). It will be exciting to see who comes out on top!

3. The 2021 FIFA Club World Cup

The 2021 FIFA Club World Cup is a global football tournament. It features the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations as well as the national league champions from countries with no club teams in international competition. The winner of this tournament will be deemed world champion and given an opportunity to add their name to the FIFA Club World Cup trophy. This year, we’ll get down to business at Toyota Stadium in Japan on December 12th.

4. The 2021 Rugby League Championship

The 2021 Rugby League Championship will be held in New Zealand, with every country sending their best players to compete for the title. It is anticipated that over 100 countries will participate in this championship tournament, and it is projected to be a huge event.  As of now, no other sporting events have been scheduled by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the same time period as this rugby league championship. This means there will likely not be any overlap between these two major international events; they are happening at different times of year and in two different parts of the world. The biggest concern for many people when it comes to holding an event like this is how much money can be made from ticket sales alone.

5. The 2021 UEFA Champions League Final

The 2021 UEFA Champions League Final will be held in Madrid, Spain. The final is the most important match of the European club soccer season and one of the most prestigious and coveted trophies that a team can win in world soccer. This year’s final will be played at Estadio Metropolitano de Madrid on June 1st 2021 with an expected attendance of over 60,000 people.

The 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League Finals are coming up, so we’re previewing every team competing to see who has what it takes to take home this trophy!

6. The 2021 Cricket World Cup

The 2021 Cricket World Cup is going to be the 12th edition of this world event. The tournament will take place in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2021. This cricket tournament has been organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) every four years since 1987, with the exception of 1992 when it took place in Australia and New Zealand. There are two types of teams that can participate: Test playing nations and associate members who have qualified through their regional competitions.

7.  The 2021 The Football World Cup

The football world cup is just around the corner. With qualifying rounds happening in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America we are only a few months away from the tournament starting. 9. PGA Championship – August 8-11, 2021

The PGA Championship is one of the four major championships in professional golf. It has been played every year since 1916 and was originally called the United States Professional Golf Association Championships, then later renamed to its current name. The tournament will take place on August 8-11, 2021 at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
