In my experience, when I’ve spent time helping people or sharing my knowledge with them, all those hours felt like they were worth twice as much as the hours where I was just sitting on the couch. The only way we can truly tell if our time is well spent, or wasted, is to share it with others.

I think that this is down to how much you are willing to help people when they need your help and not what you contribute in terms of material goods or service jobs. The true meaning of life doesn’t come from how successful a person’s career ends up being; it comes from the impact their lives have had on other peoples’.

Helping others and sharing my knowledge

It really does feel like the true meaning for me now has been exemplified by helping others and sharing my knowledge so that they might be able to use it as an asset later in life too. The world of technology has changed so much over the past decade and it is one of the few things that you have left to read. 

It is not all about making money

A tech startup isn’t all about making money, but it’s definitely not something everyone should try without thinking through. It takes years before you start seeing any profits in most cases, and if you don’t know what you’re doing then there are plenty of ways for companies like this to fail. The best thing anyone who wants to get into them can do is learn as much about startups and business management as they possibly can. Fortunately, there are lots of free resources online for this. The best you can do is try and learn as much about startups, which I’ve done for years now!

The secret to life

Everywhere we turn, people are telling us the secret to life. The answer is all around you! The answer is in your heart! The meaning of life lies within you! But what if there was one thing that could help make sense out of it? What if someone had spent their whole career trying to uncover this mystery and come up with an answer for humanity? Would you want to hear about it? Probably not. I mean who cares right now anyway especially when our phones have those motivational stickers that tell us everything will be OK. The truth is, The Meaning of Life doesn’t just exist in one place (somewhere out there) it’s all around us. The answer to The True Meaning of Life lies within you and the people who surround you every day.

Ray talked about why he believes The meaning of life is love because we are hardwired to learn through relationships with others. He focused on how our brains, which were designed as social organs when they evolved 200 million years ago, have not changed much since then. The meaning of life is actually found in our relationships with others.

The meaning of life is the love we learn to give and receive. The reason matters so much is because it’s what gives our lives significance, purpose, and value.

As I’m writing this post for my blog series about The Truth About Tech Startups I am reminded that one of the most important things in life can’t be measured. The truth is you have a choice: either live your life chasing after something else or find peace within yourself by finding it based on loving relationships with others now.
