As a kid, I was obsessed with watching all sorts of cartoons on television. I was a big fan of cartoons like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. I remember in the 80s when there was a live action cartoon based on the movie, I would watch it every day.

Toyboy is a live-action cartoon based on a movie, so it is a pretty popular choice for kids. When we were talking about this on our podcast, I asked what my son was supposed to be watching and he immediately responded, “I don’t know. Toyboy.” We were like, “Oh, that’s right.

I had to go to a special meeting in my office to discuss Toyboy, but because it was a live-action show, they had to review it before we could even discuss it. So I’m not entirely sure what Toyboy is, but I know that it is definitely a lot of fun.

Like most cartoons, one of the first things you need to do to get into the action is to decide which of these characters to start with. You can get a lot of mileage out of the same character in different ways, so playing around with which ones to start with is an important step. I think most of us start with a simple one and then play with it and see what other characters we can pull out of it that we like.

The series seems to be going in a slightly different direction than the last season, but you can still find a lot of the same characters. The main character is still the same, as are a number of the supporting characters, including a few new ones. The story also continues to take a somewhat new direction. Now instead of trying to kill people by throwing them into lava, we have the option to throw them into eachother’s lava.

The story is still the same, but there are also a few different characters that you can see playing out the game. There are also a few other new toys that you can buy. But overall, the story seems to have more of a “what if” feel than the last season, and doesn’t seem as much like a story that’s trying to kill people, so it probably won’t be as great of a time-looper.

If you like the story of the last season, then of course the new season will be better, but if you just want a less random time loop of Colt Vahn trying to kill time, it might be a little too much.

This season is more of a meta-story of Colt, but the same idea is there, but the execution seems to be lacking. It’s like we’re playing a video game as opposed to a movie. The toys in the trailer are cool, but they’re also just like the last season, and that’s the problem. We get to see all the characters play out in a more realistic way, but the storytelling feels like we’re watching a movie.

The problem with this season is that the characters are not really given enough opportunities to do anything interesting or fun or exciting. In the trailer, we’re not seeing Colt and the Visionaries really make more of a difference in the story, so it feels like we’re watching a more random time loop of Colt just doing whatever he wants.

I don’t think that’s fair. Colt is the best character in the series. His personality, his abilities, his skills, he just has it all. There’s no reason to even see him do anything more than he does now. In the season we were seeing him fail, or just doing something stupid, but he makes you feel like he’s doing something important too.
