We’ve seen that season 1, episode 2, season 2, season 3, and season 4 all happen in the same year. All are worth watching as they each tell a story about what has happened to our characters, or what has happened to us. In the first season, Jacob (Daniel Radcliffe) finds out his Aunt Kate (Laurie Metcalf) is having an affair, and he goes off to London to see if he can stop it.
The season two episode, “The Drowning”, tells us that Jacob’s life as he knew it was over. The season three episode, “The Return”, tells us that he is finally going to be able to make a decision about whether or not he wants to continue on in life. The season four episode, “The Unraveling”, tells us that he finally has the courage to make his own choices; he is going to be able to make them no matter what anyone else says.
It seems that we’re in the midst of a new age of moral ambiguity. We’re going to see a lot of characters do things that they’d like to keep hidden, even if there’s no real consequence to their actions. It’s going to be interesting to see what kind of character will be left on The Walking Dead Season 4.
I know I’m jumping on a bandwagon with this one, especially since we don’t even know if he’s left the island yet. But since I’ve been watching The Walking Dead for the past few years, I’ve noticed that one of the game’s main characters has been in a lot of Season 1 stories and in a few Season 2 stories too. So maybe he’s in Season 2 somewhere.
The season 2 story we are actually seeing right now is that the survivors of the Island are about to be attacked by a group of walkers. The showrunners have revealed that those two characters are Rick Grimes and Abraham Ford. They have a daughter, and Abraham was the father of her mother, too. You can see some of this in a few of the episodes of season 2.
The showrunners have said that we’re going to see a lot more of the former. In the first episode of season 2, it could turn out that Rick Grimes is just the guy who got the bad news about Grimes’s daughter, and now he’s trying to save her.
We’re getting a little more of Abraham Ford in season 2, as well. He was introduced in season 1, but not in that first episode. That’s because in season 1 when Isaac gets attacked by those big walkers, he had a bunch of time to react. But by the second episode, we see that he’s been on a mission.
Are you going to see the first two episodes of season 2? Well, if you are, you can watch the trailer below. It actually looks like a lot of the same things we saw in the first two episodes. Its very cool to see the future of Abraham Ford, but I also really like the idea that we are going to see a lot more of him.
Isaac’s new mission is to defend a town against the zombies, so he’s going to need to start using the time-looping powers he learned in the first episode. The good news is that Isaac has already been using the powers in the past, so it looks like the powers aren’t totally useless. The bad news is that he probably already used them to save his life, and now he needs a new mission.
I can’t wait to see him use the powers! I like how the second episode hints at a few possibilities for what a future-Jacobs future could have. There is the possibility of Isaac having to save the whole town, or being captured like in the first episode. Also, there is the possibility of there being a zombie outbreak. That would be a huge deal and a real threat to the rest of the world.
